We pick you up from your hotel or the airport in Iquitos and depart for the lodge before 10:00 a.m. The journey combines land and river transportation, traveling approximately 3 hours as you venture deeper into the Amazon basin.
Upon arrival, enjoy a warm welcome and a traditional Amazonian lunch.
In the afternoon, begin your first wildlife encounter by meeting the smallest monkey in the world — the pygmy marmoset (locally known as “Mono Leoncito”), a fascinating species native to this region.
After dinner, experience the magic of the rainforest at night with a boat excursion along the mighty Amazon River. Search for caimans glowing in the dark, nocturnal birds, and mammals that become active after sunset. The jungle comes alive in a completely different way after dark.
