The rest of the day will be to relax and begin to enjoy one of the largest and oldest cities in the country.
Split has several tourist areas. In the center, Diocletian's Palace, which mixes Roman and medieval heritage. Around it, the squares, towers and Venetian mansions, to the west the most humble Fisherman's Quarter, the wooded mountain of the Marján Park and to the south the port, the promenade and some small beaches. It is the city with the perfect combination of beach, history, nature and good food.
Tip: As you stroll along the Riva promenade, don't miss the chance to savor a traditional plate of "cevapi," a beloved local dish.
