Not to mention the delicious local cuisine with many regional & local products that you will wake up all your senses! This is where you can find wild mountains, rivers, gorges, traditional mountain villages as well as some of Greece’s most amazing beaches & coastline, all in one destination.
Explore one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in Greece, Nafplio, visit significant nearby archaeological sites such as Mycenae and Epidaurus. Hike at the footsteps of the imperious Mount Taygetos, the highest mountain of the Peloponnese and wonder around the Byzantine Castle town of Mystras. Continue south, towards the wild Mani peninsula, with its numerous mansions and dramatic cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Hike to Cape Tenaron, the southernmost edge of continental Europe and explore the spectacular caves of Diros! Continue your adventure in Dimitsana village and explore part of Mount Menalon, one of the densest mountains in Greece. Hike through Lousios gorge, part of the certified Menalon trail, visit traditional villages, rich in history, enjoy rafting in one of the country’s wildest rivers and savor the delicious regional cuisine!

Welcome to Athens! Depending on your arrival time, you have the day free to explore Athens, one of Europe’s most important cities.
Your hotel is conveniently located downtown, allowing you to take a leisurely stroll through the picturesque neighborhoods of Plaka, Monastiraki and Thisio. You can visit the UNESCO site of the Acropolis with the Parthenon, explore the Acropolis Museum, pass by the Parliament House and wander through the National Gardens. A walk up the Philopappou Hill offers superb views of the Acropolis and the city.
Early evening (usually around 17:30-18:00pm), you will meet your guide and fellow travel companions. A welcome briefing is scheduled for today as well as a short orientation walk in the city.
*Optional activities can be arranged for today, such as a guided walking tour of the Acropolis, an e-bike tour to explore the city’s major highlights, or even a food tour etc., depending on your preferences.
