- Naples - Pompeii - Sorrento. Welcome to Italy. You meet your group and tour leader in Naples at 11:30, before we travel by private minivan to Pompeii. This UNESCO World Heritage site was preserved under ash after Mount Vesuvius erupted in AD 79, offering an extraordinary glimpse into Roman life. Your entry ticket is included, allowing you to explore independently, or you can join an optional 2-hour guided tour with a professional local guide. We continue to Sorrento, a coastal gem with beautiful views across the Bay of Naples. After check-in, we enjoy an orientation walk through the town centre, taking in artisan shops and charming lanes. In the evening, you have free time to explore, or you can join your guide for an optional welcome dinner featuring traditional local flavours, followed by drinks at a lively bar or a relaxing evening by the marina with a classic Italian after-dinner drink.
