- Dublin - Rock of Cashel - Blarney Castle - Kinsale. We leave the bright lights of Dublin behind and begin our journey south through the heart of the country. Our first stop is the magnificent Rock of Cashel in County Tipperary - one of Ireland’s most iconic historic sites. Perched on a limestone outcrop, this remarkable complex includes a medieval round tower, chapel, cathedral and castle, with over 1,000 years of history woven into its walls. We then continue to Blarney Castle in County Cork, home to the world-famous Blarney Stone. Those who wish can kiss the stone to receive the legendary gift of the gab before exploring the castle’s extensive gardens. We also stop for lunch at the Blarney Woollen Mills Restaurant - a popular and welcoming spot for a traditional Irish meal. By late afternoon, we arrive in the colourful harbour town of Kinsale - often regarded as West Cork’s gourmet capital. Known for its award-winning seafood, charming streets and coastal setting, Kinsale is a memorable first overnight stop and a wonderful introduction to the spirit of Ireland.
