- Pick up your separately booked rental car at Puerto Montt airport and drive to your hotel in Puerto Varas. The town was founded in 1853 on the shores of Lago Llanquihue with the help of German immigrants. Use your free time to explore the town and enjoy the wonderful view of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes. One night at the Hotel Casa Kalfu (functional, national category: 3 stars). Approx. 20 km.
