Welcome to Honduras! San Pedro Sula, the industrial city of the country. We will be waiting for you at the airport and transfer you in a private vehicle to the most artistic city of the Maya Route and one of the most charming towns in Honduras. Welcome to Copán Ruinas! Enjoy its streets, people, handicrafts, and rest at the cozy hotel.
Today we will explore the famous Copán Ruins, known as the most artistic city of the Maya World. We will begin at the Archaeological Park, where you will see the longest Hieroglyphic Stairway of the Maya, the Ball Court, considered the social center of the city, the Great Plaza, famous for its stelae and altars, the Acropolis, the Sculpture Museum entrance, and the tunnels. Afterwards, you will visit the Macaw Mountain Bird Park, where you can learn about each bird, interact, and take photos surrounded by nature.
