Introducing Australia – Melbourne, Sydney, Cairns

This exciting trip captures iconic Aussie highlights - from Melbourne in the south and the New South Wales capital of Sydney, to Far North Queensland and the world-famous Great Barrier Reef.

Begin with three nights in Melbourne, the capital of the southeastern state of Victoria. What the smallest mainland state lacks in size, it makes up for with a spirited culture and amazing natural highlights. A full day tour takes you out of the city to explore Australia’s most famous scenic highway, the Great Ocean Road. Watch surfers catch waves along the way and stop to see the striking 12 Apostles limestone stacks along the dramatic shoreline. Plus, venture to Phillip Island for a day, where you’ll experience the thrilling Penguin Parade and Australian wildlife tour.

Next, all board the XPT train to Sydney. Enjoy the full day getting a broader view of Australia. On arrival in the Harbour City, you’ll find great museums, galleries and renowned restaurants all within easy reach of your central hotel. A Hop On Hop Off bus tour around the city’s iconic sights is included, as well as a full day tour of the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park.

From Sydney fly to Cairns, where the fun continues in Far North Queensland. No trip to this part of the world would be complete without visiting one of Australia’s most famous sites, the Great Barrier Reef. From Cairns, you’ll enjoy two days of cruising to islands that are ideal for snorkelling and experiencing the reef up close.
