Far from the traditional bus tours, this trip offers walking tours through historic neighborhoods, using public transportation, discovering local markets, and savoring authentic Sicilian street food. Palermo is a city with a history spanning thousands of years, a crossroads of Arab, Norman, and Mediterranean cultures, boasting UNESCO World Heritage sites, urban beaches, vibrant markets, and a unique identity. This program combines cultural visits, free time, and a genuine immersion in the daily life of the Sicilian capital.

The program is designed to explore Palermo on foot and by public transport, like a local. Transfers within the city are not included, except for the Ape Tour.

Arrival in Palermo and optional transfer to your centrally located hotel. The rest of the day is free to begin exploring the city at your own pace. It's the perfect time to stroll through the shopping streets, soak up the local atmosphere, and start getting acquainted with Palermo. During the day, we recommend trying authentic Sicilian street food at traditional eateries: arancini, pane e panelle, sfincione, and the classic Sicilian cassata. Optionally, you can enjoy dinner at a typical restaurant.
