In the English Channel, closer to France than England, lies Jersey, the southernmost of the Channel Islands. This is where the British way of life and French savoir vivre merge. The Gulf Stream ensures a mild, balanced climate. An unexpected Mediterranean floral splendor thrives here. Wildly rugged cliffs and dreamy bays in the north, white beaches in the west, the Wadden Sea in the south, picturesque villages and farms in the interior of the island. Good paths, inviting pubs and tea houses - a relaxing and varied week of hiking lies ahead of us.

After your flight to Jersey, you’ll be met at the airport by an ASI representative and taken to the hotel. In the evening, we’ll meet at 7:00 p.m. near the hotel reception area for a welcome from our ASI hiking guide. At this first gathering, we’ll get in the mood for the upcoming hiking week and get to know our fellow travelers.
