KAT-WALK:Three-valley hike

This hike through three valleys of the Kitzbühel Alps—Hopfgarten, Kelchsau, and Windautal—impressively combines alpine nature experiences, authentic mountain culture, and scenic hikes. From charming Hopfgarten in the Brixental valley, the route leads through the pristine mountain landscape of Kelchsau with its traditional farms, tranquil alpine pastures, and panoramic high-altitude trails, all the way to the peaceful, unspoiled high valley of Windautal. Varied stages lead through open alpine meadows, over wooded ridges, and to panoramic peaks, offering a choice of easier or more challenging circular routes depending on your preference and fitness level. A particular highlight is the crossing to the Lodron, one of the best viewpoints in the Kitzbühel Alps, with its breathtaking 360-degree panorama stretching from the Wilder Kaiser mountain range to the glaciated peaks of the Hohe Tauern.
