Kathmandu Valley Rim Trek

This is a wonderful walk if you don't want to spend all your time camping. This trek is one of the best treks in Kathmandu valley. You don't have to travel far from the city to get a rich insight into the life, history, culture and religion of the people of the valley. The trek takes you to the Shivapuri National Park through forests and villages where the old customs and culture still exist. Mount Shivapuro (2792 m) is the highest point of the trek. From the top of Shivapura, the entire Himalayas  unfold before you. The great snow-capped peaks of Manasiu in the Boudha Himalayas.

Ganesh Himal Range, Langtang Range, Dorjeelakpa, Shisapangma and Garishankar are just some of the 60 peaks. We also visit Nagarkot area  ( a hill station in a beautiful setting) and our journey  there is Dulikhel, a well-preserved Newar Lymall town, which again has a great view of the great Himalayas. The perfect way to refresh yourself from the city.
