Manaslu Circuit Trek

Manaslu Circuit Trek offers one of the Ample opportunity for culture experience in Nepal among other trekking routes in the Nepal Himalayas, also the  Trek takes you to witness the mesmerizing grandeur of Mt. Manaslu (8,156m) passing through Larkya La Pass which is widely accepted as one of the most dramatic mountain passes. But then, it also climbs down towards multi-cultural and multi-ethnic villages preserved till date, away from the traps and confines of modernization. Manaslu Circuit Trek isn't just a trip to the Himalayas or just the ethnic villages. It is the one where there is everything from the grandeur of the Himalayas to the added beauty of a virgin trail with mesmerizing supplements of the rich endemic culture.

Our trek to witness everything begins from Soti Khola from where we head up through the villages of Jagat, Deng, and Samagaon. The village of Samagaon is our acclimatization point from where we trek to Manaslu Base Camp passing Birendra Lake on our way. Samdo and Larke Phedi follow the village of Samagaon and eventually we reach Larkya La at 5160 meters. The image of the setting sun conducting an intricate orchestra of light and shadows projected onto the snow white peaks is a memory which will stay with us for a long period of time. The descent is also not the one to be sneered at. Passing through alpine vegetation slowly changing to sub-tropical surrounded by stunning landscapes and beneath the mighty Himalayas. And the people make the place even more beautiful with their smiles and hospitality. The sight of multi-cultural and multi-ethnic people living in harmony for generations is what inspired the term "Unity in Diversity".
