- Pick up from your separately booked city hotel in Ho Chi Minh City at around 8 am and drive to Cai Be. Your destination is the Mekong Delta, the rice bowl of Vietnam, the country's most fertile region and main producer of rice and tropical fruits. There you will board a sampan boat to explore the region's waterways in an original way. You will explore the narrow canals and get to know the simple life of the locals on the river. In the afternoon, continue by car to Can Tho. 2 nights in the Can Tho Ecologde (upper middle class, national category: 4 stars). (Lunch).
