You start your five-day hiking tour on the Moselsteig in Perl in the border triangle of Germany-France-Luxembourg. The first day's stage takes you through picturesque vineyards and forests to the wine village of Palzem. You can look back on your first day of hiking with a delicious glass of Elbling wine from the region. On the following day, the route leads you on scenic paths through beautiful nature to your next stage destination Nittel on the Upper Moselle. The next day also has a fantastic active experience in store for you: the hike through the Nitteler Fels nature reserve in Rhineland-Palatinate. After a restful night in Nittel, you can look forward to your last hiking stage: the hike to the cultural city of Trier, which is home to no less than nine UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Useful information about hiking the Moselle Trail

Our hiking tour along the Moselsteig takes you from Perl via Nittel to Trier in five days and four nights. The daily stages of about four to six hours lead along good hiking paths and are easily manageable with a little basic fitness. The longer sections can also be shortened by public transport. Due to the good routing, this hiking tour is also wonderfully suitable for hiking with a dog.
