On this 15-day Patagonia Azul round trip, we immerse ourselves in the majestic wilderness of Patagonia. It takes us from the green valleys around Coyhaique along the spectacular Carretera Austral through one of the last almost untouched natural landscapes in South America. Far away from mass tourism, between turquoise-blue glacial lakes, dense rainforests and snow-capped Andean peaks, we experience what is probably the most beautiful part of Patagonia: the region between the two large Patagonian ice fields Campo Hielo Norte and Campo Hielo Sur.
Azul means blue in German. Because blue is omnipresent on this trip: Not only the ice of the glaciers shimmers blue, but also the lakes and rivers in the midst of the breathtaking mountain landscapes fascinate with their impressively clear, intense hues.
Plan dzień po dniu
After being picked up from the airport in Santiago, we will be taken to your hotel in the center of Santiago. During the subsequent city tour, we will get to know the historic old town, including the market, the cathedral and the Plaza de Armas. The Santa Lucia hill offers great views of the city and the mighty Andes Cordillera, which will be our constant companion during our time in Chile.
