Explore Croatia’s Dalmatian coast on an eight-day Premium adventure from Split to Dubrovnik. Uncover the history embedded in Split’s cobblestoned streets on a walking tour with a local guide, visit the charming coastal town of Orebic and trace the historic city walls of Dubrovnik. Along the way, head off the beaten track into the Dalmatian Hinterland to see this beautiful country from a different angle – be immersed in local life in the town of Imotski when you try a traditional Peka meal and soak up scenic views from a fortress at sunset while sipping on local wine. Bursting with culinary delights and cultural wonders, Croatia’s bountiful coast has it all.

Croatia’s coast is very hilly and mountainous, meaning many steps are an inherent feature of the landscape. Also, stone streets become slippery when wet, so good walking shoes are recommended., Summer temperatures can be extreme in Croatia (over 40°C), which can be uncomfortable. It’s important to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat and drink plenty of water. Please carefully consider the time of the year you wish to travel and your suitability to that season.

Plan dzień po dniu

  1. Dobro dosli! Welcome to Croatia. Your adventure begins in Split – located on the Adriatic coast, this is Croatia’s second-largest city. You’ll be met by a local representative at the airport and transferred to your hotel when you arrive, ready for your welcome meeting at 6 pm tonight. If you arrive early, you might like to visit the Mestrovic Gallery, which displays the remarkable work of one of Croatia’s greatest sculptors. After the meeting, get to know your fellow travellers and group leader over dinner at one of Split’s local restaurants and maybe try some brudet (a rustic seafood stew) and rozata (a creamy custard pudding). Tonight, you’ll stay at Santa Lucia Heritage Hotel in the heart of Split – your Feature Stay, with a history dating back to the 18th century as the first cafe in the city.
