It was the city where a lot of Jews families were hidden from the Nazis. None of them was found or persecuted.

A walk around the city
The narrow stone paths go uphill in-between characteristic houses. It is where local ladies are selling traditionally handcrafted linen dating from their grandmother’s times. Some of the ladies will introduce us to some of the techniques of how they had handcrafts all the linens.

The next destination will be the visit at the “Onufri” Museum. He is the most famous church painter. Unique in his style for the mix of red, orange and gold color, a technique that it is still undiscovered. Visit in some of the most well known Onufri’s works.
