We then continue with a scenic hike to Ploče Viewpoint, where sweeping panoramic views of the gorge unfold before you. The inspiring Đerdap Gorge — also known as the Iron Gates — is among Serbia’s most extraordinary natural wonders and a true highlight of the Danube River. Stretching along the border with Romania, this majestic canyon extends for over 100 kilometers, cutting through towering limestone cliffs and lush forests.
