The tour starts in the beautiful town of Merano, often referred to as the garden city. It is worth visiting the botanical gardens at Trauttmansdorff Castle, where around 5,800 plant species are waiting to be explored. The icing on the cake is the magnificent castle and the picturesque views of the surrounding mountains.

Speaking of mountains - day 2 takes you 19 km through Lana and Tisens to Nals. Look forward to blooming apple orchards, quiet deciduous forests and historic castles. The second hiking stage of this short break scores with excellent views and wines.
